Blood Donors Day Celebration

On June 14, 2024, the National Service Scheme (NSS) at Sunrise College celebrated Blood Donors Day, emphasizing the importance of voluntary blood donation and honoring those who contribute to saving lives. The event aimed to raise awareness about the critical need for blood donations and the impact they have on the community.

The celebration included informative sessions and discussions about the significance of blood donation, addressing common misconceptions and encouraging students to participate in future donation drives. Testimonials from previous blood donors highlighted the life-changing effects of their contributions, inspiring many to consider donating blood.

In addition to educational activities, the NSS organized a blood donation camp on campus, allowing students and staff to donate blood and make a tangible difference. The event not only facilitated the collection of blood but also fostered a sense of social responsibility and community service among the participants.

The Blood Donors Day celebration at Sunrise College was a successful initiative, promoting the spirit of giving and encouraging a culture of compassion and care within the college community.
