Sunrise College embraced the spirit of compassion and inclusivity by organizing an Iftar Program in collaboration with the Blind people of Asraya Community Mathamangalam. Held on March 21, 2024, this event aimed to foster a sense of humanity and unity among the students while extending a warm gesture of hospitality to the blind community.
The program commenced with a warm welcome extended to the guests from the Asraya Community Mathamangalam, who were invited as special guests for the occasion. As the sun set, marking the end of the day's fast, students and guests gathered to break their fast together, sharing in the traditional Iftar meal.
The event served as a platform for students to engage with the blind community, fostering empathy and understanding. Through conversations and shared experiences, barriers were broken down, and meaningful connections were formed.
